An iTechshark Technology Specialist is responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience in a retail location by assisting new and existing customers with their unique technology needs and problem-solving issues. This position engages in servicing customers whose phones or other electronic devices are not working properly and offering solutions which may include repair or replacement.


Maximize customer experience by “solving the whole problem”
Create a positive and professional customer experience/atmosphere.
Must troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and process transactions for customers.
Speak with customers and assist them with their device problems by repair, education, or replacement.
Use repair equipment that requires safe handling procedures.
Offer and demonstrate various retail products to customers such as iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, iMacs, Accessories, or any other products sold by iTechshark.
Technicians must work well in a team environment.
Complete accurate paperwork and transactions according to company policies and procedures.
Perform inventory counts as needed.
Assist in maintaining store appearance, back room, restrooms, and an individual work area according to the retail store standards.
Assist with all functions within a retail store in compliance with iTechshark’s policies and procedures.
Must be punctual at all times.
Technicians will assist in other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by management.


Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 9 hours) on the sales floor.
Must be able to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds.

High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training.
Previous repair experience is preferred.

Availability in flexible scheduling; reliable transportation.
Knowledge of wireless communication preferred.
